As queer women who immigrated to the US from a country that oppresses every minority, we are no stranger to systemic discrimination and racist inertia.
We are grieving with you, and we stand in solidarity against racism, oppression, violence, and injustice.
We are a small and very young company, founded to be a part of positive change:
Darling Spring is a platform dedicated to promoting independent and emerging female designers from around the world, and we believe this is a powerful tool for equity.
We all know too well that it is already difficult to live in a world that doesn’t respect the creative and intellectual contributions of women.
Staying true to our mission, we are committed to using our platform to give voice to the stories, experiences, and perspectives to highlight, lift up and support our Black peers in this particularly crucial time.
We are dedicating our platform to better represent womxn from all communities and use our collective power to enact change.
As Darling Spring, we will actively redirect our resources to and invest in black women-owned creative businesses in our industry.
We welcome our community’s input in this process to spread the word to WOC creatives in the design industry and share our message with them.
